SASKATCHEWAN NORTH CENTRAL SOFTBALL ACADEMY
The Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association (SASA) in partnership with the Saskatoon Minor Softball league (SMSL) launched the Saskatchewan North Central Softball Academy (SNCSA) in 2019, running out of the newly constructed Gordie Howe Sports Complex! The new Softball Academy will offer a variety of programming for kids of all ages and levels indoors from fall to spring.
Timbits Saturdays launched in 2019 with great success. This program is a revolutionary way of introducing the sport of Softball to children. Activities are included which foster the involvement of ALL players, including players with high and low skill levels. The child will experience excitement, enjoyment and success. Activities and lead-up games are patterned after informal playground games that promise an hour of FUN and LOTS OF ACTION. Participants will go home at the end of the day happy and tired, while improving their fitness level. Visit the Timbits Saturdays page on the website for more details and registration.
The SNCSA Indoor Girls Skills leagues are presently taking registrations providing the U11, U13 &U15 age groups the opportunity to develop their skills as well as practice in a game setting. Players will participate in sessions ranging from skill development, batting cage and Hittrax sessions, as well as live games. All players will be drafted into teams upon completion of registration. See the programs section of the website for more details and registration information.
